About Michel Hellman
Michel Hellman is a cartoonist and lecturer at the École Multidisciplinaire de l'Image of the Université du Québec en Outaouais. He writes about arts and culture and is the author of Mile End, published by Pow Pow, ????? - Iceberg (Colosse 2010 - Oie de Cravan 2017) and Le Petit Guide du Plan Nord (Oie de Cravan 2013). His comic book Nunavik (Pow Pow Editions), which tells the story of his stay in Quebec's Far North, won the Bédélys prize in 2016. He recently published Débarqués, a comic book created in collaboration with André Marois for the publisher La Pastèque.
