Émilie Leduc graduated in animation from Cégep du Vieux Montréal in 2005, and completed her bachelor's degree in graphic design at Université du Québec à Montréal in 2010. She has worked as a computer graphics designer and animator on various TV series. In 2010, she was awarded the Michèle Lemieux illustration grant for the quality of her work produced between 2009 and 2010. Her first children's book, La ronde des mois, was a finalist in the 2012 Governor General's Literary Awards. She published four more albums in 2013.
