Our Creators Over the Years
Comic books, graphic novels, and bande dessinée are a diverse art form that cuts across a wide range of artistic disciplines, from writing to drawing and beyond. To encompass this diversity we have consciously chosen to use the general term “creator” to refer to all those working in the medium.
The equivalent term in French, “bédéiste,” has the additional advantage of being non-gendered. It should go without saying that MCAF is an inclusive organization that has no place for intolerance or discrimination in any form.
The following is an exhaustive list of the creatorswho have done us the honor of participating in MCAF over the years, be it once, several times, or even each and every year! The Festival couldn’t exist without them, and we can never thank them enough for their participation.
